Heroes - You dont have to be a soldier to love your Country

Let me start with appreciating the directors and their crew for their efforts. Just a few moments ago I watched a bollywood movie called Heroes (director sameer karnik - maker of nane jaisalmer) and wanted to blog abt it right away.

In my view abt the film what I felt was it was missing some thing and the film did not tweek me, songs werent needed for the movie at all, the cast was gud but not enough or did not provide the acting that was needed for script/story (except our perky girl she was gud). To finish off I liked the movie and would term as a Good film with a substance - would have applauded if the movie was even more beautifully done.

Well I forgot an another movie I saw 'Welcome to Sajjanpur' well I will term it as a 'Novel based Novel movie' by Shyam benegal.
Would like to see more of these kind of movies.

India's Media

Pals,

How are u guys? Had a nice deepavali? We usually blog on cinemas, travel, or sports. this time I am venturing into a dark side that some people will be reluctant to speak abt. Please read on if ur interested in it.

Now a days all I see in the eletronic media is conterversies, killings & politics. I dont see any thing gud like achivements written in the media at all. The other day I was chatting with a pal of mine on this 'hindu terrorism' topic (http://www.rediff.com/news/2008/oct/27tarun.htm). well As we have a freedom to speach and write, we also have a social responsiblity dont we. We came into this world to do gud both directly and indirectly and to show love to all people who love & hate us. But i dont understand one thing why is that that all i see in news tvs and websites that more killings and voilence is depicted than achivements and gud deeds done in the world
can we reason it as elections , i dont think so? c the rediff link for example contervisies, killings , politics are all that is in the websites no achivments, all 4r cheap political gains!!

I am looking for one gud website were all are depicted gud and no gore flicks. I'm wondering why not bring +ive ness in life than -ve ness. Every day each one is facing his own trivals if we shows up those trivals in a postive way it will boost others to fight their life to win and not to loose, I presume this make sense than all these gore flicks and cheap politics, instead if we produce these gore flicks it will weaken the one and fear and hinderness will loom in ones mind and one will not be able to fight his own life back even in his every day life and will atlast be termed as a coward than a winner. By the way havent we launched some thing to moon isnt it not a achivment why not write brifely on those than these! nothing just wondering!!!

Do we need to replicate another Big 5 country by doin this ? where has the teachings of our elders and ancestors - kindness, love and peace gone? has it gone to the dustbin. So why dont we follow the gud deeds and the let the world recognize and realize it.

Are we Indians A WINNER or a looser or a CoWarD?

Please feel free to post in ur comments.

Gops

The Great Wall Of India

Rahul Dravid's 10,000 Test runs were celebrated at Chinnaswamy stadium with Sachin Tendulkar unveiling a wall of 10,000 bricks

Located strategically outside the pavilion-end, the Wall is visible from the famous MG Road in downtown and a few yards away from Kumble circle, christened after Indian Test skipper's 10-wicket haul in second Test against Pakistan in February 1999 in Delhi.
