Memories of Wimbeldon Men's Finals 2009

Thrilling Men's Final. Wimbeldon 2009 is over, but the memories of championship finals are still with me. It is an epic Final. Longest Wimbeldon Final ever. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Wimbeldon 2009 Finals Live between Roger Federer VS Andy Roddick

(L-R) Pete Sampras, Manuel Santana, Rod Laver and Bjorn Borg watch the action during the men's singles final match between Roger Federer of Switzerland and Andy Roddick of USA on Day Thirteen of the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on July 5, 2009 in London, England

With Greatest Tennis Legends Like Pete Sampras,Rod Laver and Bjorn Borg among the audiences, there was huge involvement, tough competition between two players to conquer every set. Roger Federer chasing his Record Grand Slam Title to break the record of Pete Sampras, and Roddick towards the glory to be named as Wimbeldon Champion 2009.

Both were two blazing guns and there was fight in every set, taking to the decider. And the final set was WoW!!! awesome. It was going on and on. Guys fought with their energy levels rising to the maximum. Both held on to their serve and won the games. It is to be noted that it is 4 hours and 16 minutes and what kind of physical fitness would have required to keep going till conquering the crown.

Roger Federer defeated Andy Roddick
SET I : 5-7
SET II : 7-6 (8-6)
SET III : 7-6 (7-5)
SET IV : 3-6
SET V : 16-14
to win a sixth Wimbledon title and claim a record 15th grand slam crown in an epic final.

Match Duration : 4 hours and 16 minutes

Though Federer won the Championships, my heart felt congratulations and applause to both Federer and Roddick for giving such an entertaining and awesome match.
Roddick was a tough competitor for Federer in this Finals.

Kudos!!! guys
